Preface to the Online Exhibition of "Masters ofCalligraphy and Painting – World-Class Art Masters' Teaching Materials and Archives" Chinese calligraphy and painting, with a long history and profound essence, are precious treasures of Chinesecivilization. In the tide of the new era, Mr. Tian Yinhu takes brush and ink as the soul and paper/silk as the medium. He deeply roots himself in tradition whileexploring innovations, endowing this ancient art form with new vitality. With reverence for art and passion for inheritance, we have curated this online exhibition. Through diverseforms such as videos, images, and documents, theexhibition presents the practical achievements ofcontemporary calligraphy and painting. It pays tribute to artists who record the times with brush and ink anddepict mountains and rivers with pigments – among which, Mr. Tian Yinhu's creative archives are the core highlight. Brushwork should keep pace with the times, and art lies in inheritance. Calligraphy and painting are not only the accumulation of techniques but also the continuation of spirit. Mr. Tian Yinhu is deeply grounded in the cultural context of traditional calligraphy and painting, yet he is not confined to old conventions. 田银虎，1950 年生于陕西宝鸡，国礼艺术大师，国家博物馆画廊编 委、中国书画协会名誉主席、中国将军诗书画研究院理事、陕西省美 办会员、高级手工装裱师。代表作品有:《万山红遍》 (1996 年陕西省 职工绘画大赛特等奖)、《太白金秋》 (2001 年在韩国展出)、《二龙戏 珠》 (1999 年在《陕西日报》成立 60 周年大型刊物《迈向新世纪》 上发表)、《万山红遍层林尽染》 (2000 年 12 月在中国美协于郑州举 办的中国画、书法精品大展中入选)、《松下问童子》 (2002 年入选 《世界书画家大辞典》)、《富贵吉祥》 (2004 年 3 月在《中国书画 报》发表)、《青山绿水》 (2005 年在《中国书画报》发表)、《盛世中华》等。 2016 年作品《秦嶺金秋》被阿拉伯总统收藏。
