Graduated from Northwest University and worked at Xianyang Normal University (retired). Professor of Calligraphy, National First Class Calligrapher, State Guest Calligrapher, Chinese Calligraphers Association Member, Chinese Couplets Association Member, Shaanxi Calligraphers Association Member, Zhang Zongbiao was hired as an art consultant by CCTV Calligraphy and Painting Channel. Zhang Zongbiao was hired as the "Famous Curator" by the National Palace Museum in Taipei, China. Zhang Zongbiao was hired as the "Vice Dean" by the World Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Institute. Zhang Zongbiao was hired as the "United Nations Ambassador" and one of the most influential contemporary artists at home and abroad. On September 24, 2020, Su Shishu, Chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, inscribed an inscriptionfor Zhang Zongbiao, titled 'People's Artist'. On December 6, 2020, Fan Di'an, Chairman of the ChinaArtists Association, inscribed an inscription to present Zhang Zongbiao with the title of "Benchmarkof the Times". On September 17, 2021, Sun Xiaoyun, Chairman of the China Calligraphers Association,inscribed an inscription for Zhang Zongbiao, titled "National Treasure level Art Master". Zhang Zongbiaois currently a researcher at the Cultural and Historical Museum of the Shaanxi Provincial People'sGovernment Counselor's Office, Honorary President ofthe Xianyang Branch of the Shaanxi Calligraphy andPainting Art Research Institute, and Advisor to the Shaanxi Provincial Cultural CommunicationAssociation. He is also the Honorary Chairman of the China Calligraphers Association, Honorary Chairman ofthe People's Art Appreciation Center of the People'sDaily, and Vice Chairman of the New Literature andArt Group Calligraphers Working Committee of theChina Calligraphers and Painters Association. He isalso the Honorary Chairman of the World Literatureand Art Entrepreneurs Exchange Center. He iscurrently employed by the BRICS Artists Organizing Committee of the United Nations Commission for the Development of Arts. Zhang Zongbiao is the Cultural Propaganda Ambassador of BRICS Artists. He is also appointed by Signed Artist " Zhang Zongbiao was awarded the honorary titles of "Ambassador of the Three Regions Across the Taiwan Strait" and "Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy Master with the Most Investment and Collection Potential and Value" for his three-year tenure. Zhang Zongbiao also published: "Collection of Chinese Modern and Contemporary Famous Calligraphers - Zhang Zongbiao", which is the first calligraphy volume in China, "Da Hong Pao". Zhang Zongbiao's calligraphy of Da Hong Pao has been approved as a Chinese intangible cultural heritage publication. Zhang Zongbiao was awarded the title of inheritor of calligraphy for intangible cultural heritage publications.
